Kitchen Hero: 3L Food Processor with Dicing

Ingredients

    • 300g strong bread flour
    • 1 tsp instant yeast (from a sachet or a tub)
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tbsp olive oil plus extra for drizzling
    • 100ml passata
    • handful fresh basil or 1 tsp dried
    • 1 garlic clove crushed
    • 125g ball mozzarella sliced
    • handful grated or shaved parmesan (or vegetarian alternative)
    • handful of cherry tomatoes halved
    • handful of basil leaves (optional)

    Method

    • Add the flour, yeast and salt to the Hamilton Beach 3L Food Processor with Dicing. Add the warm water and olive oil, then use the appropriate setting to combine until a soft dough forms. Knead briefly on a lightly floured surface until smooth.
    • Add the passata, basil and garlic to the food processor and pulse until combined. Season to taste and set aside.
    • Divide the dough into two balls and roll each one into a thin round, approximately 25cm across. Place onto floured baking sheets.
    • Spread the prepared tomato sauce over each pizza base. Use the dicing function to prepare the mozzarella and tomatoes, then scatter over the pizzas and drizzle with olive oil.
    • Bake at 240°C/220°C fan/gas 8 for 8–10 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and golden. Finish with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil before serving.
